JBL GT5-2404BR - 1600w Preloaded Ported Enclosure

The JBL® GT5-1204BP provides superior performance compared to that of competing loaded enclosures, primarily because of its revolutionary Slipstream port, which provides lots of surface area outside the box so that the air stays stuck together – our engineers have named it the Adverse Pressure Gradient.™ This gradual change from high pressure to low pressure eliminates the audible distortion called “whacking." Because the area of the port in the middle is much smaller than the mouth of the port, the port can be MUCH shorter than a cylindrical port with a surface area the same as the Slipstream port's mouth; this means it can fit into regular boxes. Stickiness outside the box is maximized by increasing pressure, and stickiness inside the port is minimized by reducing velocity. The benefit of this proprietary technology is more bass output with greatly reduced port noise and distortion.

JBL W10GTi - 10" Differential Drive 3000w Subwoofer

The W10GTIE is truly the first in-car bass units that can provide the sheer output required for winning SPL contests while accurately reproducing the low frequency content of any program material. This 25cm GTi subwoofer handles 3000W peak- more power than any other car audio sub can handle.It has a differential drive design which is an important advancement in subwoofer motor technology. The new designs enables W10GTiE sub to use a pair of smaller and lighter 76mm-diameter voice coils hence provides significantly higher power handling through increased surface area and maintains low-moving mass not possible through with larger coils. The Kevlar- impregnated paper woofer cone has been selected for its high strength to weight ratio whereas the Nitrile-Butylene rubber provides an optimum blend of elasticity and internal damping. An additional cooling is provided to the motor structure and also consists the Progressive Spider that provides better control at excursion limits than a linear spider.
